Have you seen all those goofy lookin’ squareish bar codes? What the heck are those things that are popping up in magazines, fliers, etc.? Those are called QR Codes. There are tons of ways you can use QR Codes in your business. Say alot without people having to take your flier… all they have to do is snap a photo with their phone as long as they have an app that can read it (some are free!). I have an iPhone and use RedLaser, but QR Code Reader is free. If you’re on an android you can use Google Goggles.

We often run out of business cards while we’re out and about, so what better way to share your info than to have your business card in a form that someone can simply scan and add you as a contact in their phone!?

I’ve simply taken my QR Code (which is a v-card aka digital contact card) and turned it into the background on my iPhone. Now if I don’t have a business card to pass out, they can simply scan my iPhone to get the info they need!

We used: http://www.moongate.ro/en/products/qr_code-vcard/ for the v-card, but http://www.tag.cx/ also does a great job.
